Weekly Outlook: Farm and Consumer Outlook

This week, we’ll get new measures on the outlook of farmers and consumers, with Purdue’s ag barometer survey on Tuesday and the University of Michigan’s consumer sentiment reading Friday. Both have seen jumps since the U.S. election in November, so this week’s numbers should provide an indicator of whether that confidence was a short-term bump, or has staying power.
