GFLC Day One Wrapup

Day one of the Global Financial Leadership Conference in Naples, Florida is in the books, and it carried the political and economic weight the conference has become known for. A few photos from day one:

CME Group Chairman and CEO Terry Duffy kicked off the conference leading a discussion with former President George W. Bush and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.

Gillian Tett of the Financial Times moderates a discussion between Ian Bremmer of Eurasia Group and best-selling author J.D. Vance on the inequality gap in America. “I don’t think you can make strong bets on policy wins in this type of environment,” said Bremmer.

The conference closes for the day with dinner and fireworks on the beach in Naples.
